Remove Spray Paint fron wheels? - removing paint from my wheel

There are about a year I had my wheels painted black, I have regualt Wal * Mart, spray paint. paint something expensive and I want to remove color and my moose yet, what is the best way to remove spray paint from the wheels? They told me to go buy spray paint remover from Home Dept. / 'Lowes told me that toothpaste and a soft sponge or even the dissolution of the enamel had to do, but I need the best way to know it, THANK YOU !
