The FS series is due to requirements of the end.
Cameras on your hard drive and flash memory are stored the same. The types of files can be different, but both are very heavily compressed by the standard definition MPEG2. You may need a file converter. Streamclip works well.
The editing software included with each camcorder is useless. Movie Maker is a good place to start. Sony Vegas is a step forward.
You can change the colors, if they register with the white balance (the rest use, green, blue or red) - The best thing to adjust when you change colors.
