It is stored on the hard drive. It is in the registry, if stored. So, if you still have access to your Windows installation, you will find.

If you do not find the registry manually, using a tool such as the one below:

Well, if you do not have access to Windows, over time, then you should call Microsoft. It is difficult for me to believe that your XP Home disc and hold in their original packaging, as Microsoft has to do a good job stickers that contains your product key on the CD the file. But if somehow threw that part of it can be a Microsoft employee, trying to find information when you register your key will not (hopefully).

Fortunately, there are several ways to make a lost product key. The easiest way is to download a free search of clues and the team automatically after the product key on your installed software.

These programs are the big search for the lost keys for common operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows Vista and much more. Many lost CD keys of Microsoft Office and other programs.

Most users looking for a way to try the product keys that are looking to find a use for the installation of Microsoft Windows. If this happens and do not download unknown software to have to help your game, there's a way to manually locate the product key for some of the older Microsoft operating systems:

Get the Windows Product Key Code 95
Get the Windows Product Key Code 98
Find the code for the product key for Windows ME

If you use a newer version of Microsoft Windows, like Windows XP or Windows Vista, product key in the registry is encrypted, and you should use one of the producersct-key programs can be found.
